It’s mostly hand wringing on the fact that lawyers and Litigation funders charge fees and that these eat up large amounts of settlements. Though it is somewhat fair in that it lays out the counter arguments as well.

In terms of optics its not a good look for Shine - regardless of whether or not that is fair.

The most important item from our perspective is that at the end of the year there will be a federal Government enquiry into class action lawsuits (these have skyrocketed since regulations were loosened around litigation funders)
Since these enquires are political exercises, these kinds of articles aren’t great since they provide ammunition and swing public sentiment against class actions.
