Unfortunately, the sense that the general population is being
manipulated by vested interests is very strong. Only a fool
would trust without question.
My personal level of trust is very low and it seems obvious
that the current "crisis" has provided the opportunity to
politicians and business interests to further their ideological
and financial agenda. They have colluded in this endeavour.
The virus has also provided the country that gave it to the
world a massive advantage in promoting its ambitions of
geopolitical domination. It's very handy having a massive
population to experiment upon that you don't give a bugger
about.
I will not be pushing my way to the front of the queue to
receive a vaccination for a disease I have almost zero
chance of catching with almost zero chance of being harmed
if I did catch it. This is my personal choice. The vaccine
risk is higher than the virus risk.
We won't have long to wait to see the hypocrisy of the "elites".
