    Not sure I agree there will be lots of patients to treat.

    By the time they have been treated with all the better cheaper alternatives, and then it is realised they did not work, it will be too late. Who’s going to be reaching for stems at US$70k a pop early on, when there’s alternatives? A few cult members only. No one else is really saying stems is the answer.

    Also, let’s not forget, other companies are developing further treatments at warp speed. We are only two years into a completely new condition and look at the strides forward in that time. At best, it will be two more years before stems are approved. Imagine the advancement by other companies who are moving ahead in that time. While msb waits to fix the manufacturing quality control problems.

    Even assuming the hype peddled here, hard to manufacture, and very expensive stems won’t get a look in. Novartis new this.

    Better to devote resources to the cancer application. Covid was a nice announcement puff piece, but when examined under the microscope, it’s limitations were on full display.
