You're corrrect that if Pfizer dosent buy in then its not looking good. But I believe that this IP is unique and from my reading of Pfizer and their M&A history they will be after this niche technology. All depends on the trials being conducted as we speak.There are other companies in eg. China who would still be keen. Lots of options.
But the 003 is a no brainer,as Pfizer sell Viagra into a more competitive market, and need a new angle to sell. Sublingual with better absorption, lower dose and longer in system half life.
Unless of course the trial results show no advantage?!
But the corollary of that argument is much more interesting to me.
