It wasn't that long ago that Big Pharma were telling everyone ivermectin was an antiparasitic agent, and therefore wouldn't work against covid. There are several other papers showing ivermectin's antiviral action, for anyone interested in searching pubmed.
Their Pfizer geeks will be given the instruction to maintain function of ivermectin, but change the molecule enough to allow a new patent. A "novel" anti-viral.
