I think most folks (traders etc) saw it coming.. even if you consider the previous cycles of boom and busts. It's not rocket science. I've been calling it early for the last couple of years, too.. Covid handouts have altered the timeline a bit. That's the only difference. But I think that lifeline is running low now too. The other issue is 24/7 media has to have something to talk about ,, and most of the mainstream media in this particular country are woke or cooked or pathetic,, or all of the above.. US is similar .It's astonishing what the general population consume in regard to media. Even the financial ones are cooked.. and trying to keep the S&P rolling while some of the smarter money is finding safer havens.. As for 'Peter Joe and Mary', I'm not sure your 'Armageddon' is that universal and all pervasive. We'll see. I think at this point Oz is still a lucky country, despite what some governments and lefties try to do to it... I despair a little as to what we might be handing our children and grandchildren. But they fight us every step as well! They've been convinced by the education system, and media , too! . Sad.. Can but try.
