In another report in the "mining and trade review" a new 50mw coal fired power station to be built by a joint Indian and Malawian consortium.
There are many new electricity projects either underway or being planned. One can not stress the importance and impact of such for locals and projects in mining and construction.
Again it will take time but far better than the recent expensive importation of diesel generators. The deal last week to import electricity from Zambia is also big as they will from Mozambique and Tanzania soon linking to interconnectors to tje national grid.
