SQM will certainly need KID because SQM with the Chilean political risk (government's say) is a significantly higher risk for supply contracts than Kidman in a politically secure environment. Why else did Tesla make the deal with Kidman and not SQM?
He described it very well, later KID will take care of her parents SQM and give back so much more.
