When you consider that the border regions are ethnically Chinese success is very much skewed to any company where the interests of both Myanmar and China can be addressed. This is also the case with MYL.

PS Have driven and visited many of the areas that jounos are describing as 'problematic' and all I saw was people leading lives and running businesses in a manner not dissimilar to an Australian environment (except for all the Chinese business advertising).

I highly agree, i mean the main reason Australia survived the GFC wasn't because of Rudds spending package but our location to the booming Chinese market. China is still looking to become the biggest economy in the world, which will require lots more rsources!
