The real question is if demand on Platinum is high and stockpiles are at record lows, why is the spot only at 1450?
In these cases, it is often the anticipation that a large new supply is coming in, or the sudden drop in demand. So I ask the question. Is anyone aware of any new mines coming into place soon or existing ones stockpiling.
Or perhaps new tech such as the ceramic proppants described at the end of the article will drop consumption of PGMs.
Personally, I'm betting my stake in NKP on the increasing demand for air filtration in new areas outside of cars such as in factories and apartments.
