Market Nuggets:South African Supply Challenges Lend Support to PGM Group—Deutsche Bank

(Kitco News) - Prospects for platinum group metals seem to be a little better than for gold and silver, according to Deutsche Bank. In a research note, Deutsche Bank says that during the past week, gold and silver have struggled to produce meaningful gains and investor risk perceptions moderate while global monetary authorities remain, for the most, part dovish. “PGMs, however, appear to have more support, particularly as it becomes increasingly evident that supply challenges are likely to continue in South Africa. Prospects for platinum remain strong in our view,” Deutsche Bank says.
