I am as pleased as you all are with the Monday announcement. I now have some more goodies to share.
Rob is shortly off again to China to finalise the offtake agreement and associated details. The initial 15 tonnes of scandium will provide $A 30 million , Rob believes he will secure the sale for at least $2,000 per kg. Now that pays for most of the initial platinum/scandium mine development believe it or not. So it will be immediate plain sailing with the start up costs mostly covered.
Now in reply to the platinum metallurgy, that is still 3-4 weeks away as the processing lab are just taking a long time to complete this and Rob was not keen to pay a premium for the lab to fast track the results. They are working with 30 kg of sample ore. All going well though and it seems that the whole Owendale programme will gather momentum quite quickly.
You had better purchase all the stock you would like to hold now because a number of media updates are being distributed and if some institutional brokers start acquiring the stock or recommending it to their clients look out!
