Scotgold Resources is pleased to provide an
update regarding planning matters at the
Cononish Gold and Silver Project.
The Company will today submit a Planning
Application Notice as the start of the process to
make a revised application for planning
permission for the Cononish Gold and Silver
project.
Since refusal of the previous application, the
Directors of Scotgold have met on six
occasions with senior representatives of the
Planning Authority. The discussions regarding
the form of the Tailings Management Facility
and other matters have now progressed to an
extent that the Company is prepared to
commence the re-application process.
Currently Scotgold retain the right to continue
with their Appeal to the Scottish Ministers, as
announced on 1st November 2010
