I'm new to this forum so maybe this has already been discussed.
But Take a look at where Senegal was located during the geological period when most of the GOM oil source rocks were deposited.
I'm confident the ConocoPhillips geologists would have had a very close look at the local geology before advising management on the Potentials of this region.
