As for physical gold it could do anything, we could have some kind of catastrophe and it could go to 2k over night, thats not for sale but the equities fair game

gold miners are not gold, Chairman Rudd just seized half the marble bag anyway, yes some of the producers will follow gold eventually, but not till you have had one hell of a fright, do you mind if I wait and buy em off ya when your hands get shaky?

and no Ive gone over history with my magnifying glass, gold doesnt automatically follow the gold price, the tripe thats trotted out as gold equity history is self serving complete nonsense

Its like the hyperinflationists, ask them when in history a reserve currency has ever hyperinflated and they point too small African countries, post world war 1 Germany and Argentina..............none of them reserve currencies, none of them with credit markets extended as they are today, then there is the 79-80 nonsense when debt was a 1/3 of what it is today.

its just doesn't stand up to examination, folks half reading history and making it fit their scenario, because they want too believe they are going to be rich , rich , rich

folks we telling me 6 months ago that the USD was much weaker than the Euro, that Greece was worse the Cali, that gold miners were just about shoot to the moon

beware if the GFC2 does come along , it could make GFC1 look like a holiday
