Elanco interest in monepantel as a pet antiviral, if/once it proves up? Yet another reason they will not let their control over monepantel slide in any way. I think cats can get Covid 19, dogs less so.

No corona vaccine is likely to be a one shot wonder as most people's antibody response declines quickly, plus the virus mutates. The common cold is 1 of 4 corona viruses. No vaccine to any of them. The flu vaccine is from 20% to 60% effective annually (so from 40% to 80% ineffective). It is possible to get one shot wonders against viruses, but corona viruses seem particularly resistant to our efforts.
