if you bought the opis at the .005 and convert them you actually probs have a cgt claim to begin as you already carry the loss of the 1 cent oppis you had to have to get the next allocation. If however you buy the new opis on market then you have to figure whether cgt is due. If you sell the opis at a profit you have to factor cgt. Point being the cgt clock starts again when you convert to heads. Clear as mud.
