PHARMAUST TO ACQUIRE RIGHTS TO THREE ONCOLOGY PRODUCT
PLATFORMS AND PARTNER WITH EXPERIENCED BIOTECHNOLOGY
COMMERCIALISERS

The Board of PharmAust (Company or PharmAust) is pleased to announce that it has
executed a non-binding agreement to acquire 100% of the issued capital of Pitney
Pharmaceuticals Pty Limited (Pitney Pharmaceuticals or PPL), an unrelated Sydneybased corporation which is developing three technology platforms in the field of
oncology.
PharmAust and Pitney Pharmaceuticals are currently finalising the terms of binding
Share Purchase Agreements during a binding exclusivity period.

 PharmAust acquiring novel oncology drug platforms targeted to the
treatment of common cancers (liver, bowel, ovarian, lung, cervical);
 One of the three oncology platforms is the subject of a Research
and Option Agreement for development of a veterinary product with
a leading global animal health company;
 Another oncology platform has completed two trials in humans and
is ready for a phase II clinical trial;
 Clinical trials will be undertaken in Australia and PPL will apply for
an Investigational New Drug Application (IND) from the US Food
and Drug Administration (FDA);
 Incoming Directors include experienced biotechnologist Dr Roger
Aston (proposed Executive Chairman) as well as Professor David
Morris (proposed Non-Executive Director);
 PharmAust will raise additional funds to develop the Pitney
Pharmaceuticals platforms, develop its existing business and
provide working capital.
