Hi Thrifty. Valid thought however would this not be a grass is greener scenario. Have heard the argument before however as kpax pointed out PRR went to the Nasdaq with ADR's. Yep they raised some money but also increased their ongoing costs. Certainly has not seen the s/p sky rocket as some expect with such a move.
Bottom line a business structure such as PAA is really not the best vehicle to attempt to retain control of the IP and take it to market. Some form of t/o has to be the preferred option. PAA appears very much headed in the right direction for this scientifically, just now need to land the right partner.
