100% agree. The biotech/pharma world at corporate and global industry level is not as big in number of players as most may think and you don't want to be in the "hard to negotiate with" list. Negotiation is key. I work in the oncology field and just this week I pointed out to a colegue that in relation to a third party company we best not treated them as technoligy supplier or them treating us as a customer/client but we best approach the business as we are all partners in improving/developing the service/technology for the patients and for future. So, we may not get into a business with one company or cease to continue with them but that should not mean we then fall into separate worlds. We still continue to work toward a common mission.
