The names in the ASX100 like NASDAQ and other major indicies turnover > 50% every 7 years on average. The supposed blue chips of the present get replaced and superseded. That's why the indexes go continuously up.

I fundamentally see PAR having less risky to my future wealth than most banks despite the dividends as they're unlikely to show any capital appreciation and more likely to show capital erosion over the next 5 years. The asymmetrical risk of making 10-100 times on PAR solving life changing conditions versus a volatile dividend stream and eventually loss of market share from term deposits, home loans and credit cards
