I support your optimism Orion. However,comparisons between CSL and PAB requires a bit of a reality check.
CSL or 'Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, was a government owned (publicly funded)entity producing vaccines for the preventative health industry. It already had a basic business model, a solid research and development unit and an established monopoly of a niche market before it was privatised. Of course it has gone from strength to strength since then.
Now, I would certainly wish PAB similar success in the coming years, but lets be clear that it's attempts to do so are from a completely different set of circumstances.
