Phase IIb trial enrollment completion is officially slated for Q3 2011.
The publication of the results of the trial is scheduled for Q3 2012 and if i recall correctly they are aiming for release at the ASCO conference in June 2012.
The comment about patient survival was simply given as an example of how trials are event driven rather than time specific. I really don't think the inference should be made that one or two patients extended survival would result in a blow out of the overall timeframe, especially when IIB is this far advanced. I'd imagine worst case (bad terminology I know) they'd have pleanty of interim data to publish.
In any event Phase III preparation is clearly well underway and recruitment should be officially announced any day.
