A quick question from a non-medic.
I had got the impression when the Phase 2 trial ended that at the end of the trial things were all going in the right direction. From various charts, the improvement seemed to stop at day 54, but as it was a 6 week (42 day trial) at time drug stopped it looked good. Or at least, that was what I thought.
But some comments from Acadia transcript seems to show otherwise. One line - for example was
So on the LAVENDER study, given the Phase 2 is only six weeks and you're up and get to 12 weeks and in the Phase 2 the drug arm was still decreasing when that study stopped. How much additional benefit do you think you can get on those clinical endpoints with that added time?
Take this to mean the drug's effectiveness was dropping at 6 weeks????
