HWS - what you say is true but in IMO not quite the same as for Magnetite. Nickel is an addative to turn base metals into stainless steel (for which the chinese are now experimenting with other additives) so uncertain times for nickel. Magnetite is the base product for steel(of any kind) - anyone who has been in the manufacturing industries or construction will tell you that at present there is no real alternative to steel - its everwhere even in the small plastic trinkets that are mass manufactured - in steel tooling.
Thats why Ansteel are hanging around.
