Mesoblast is generating data suggesting not only that cell therapy works, but also that it works in patients where steroids don't—and that cell therapy does what steroids can't, which is to arrest disease progression ie; GVHD
Steroids treat the symptoms and not the underlying problem, and there is good reason to believe that cell therapy can not only alleviate pain, but also help arrest disease progression. The value of that is huge.
