Livestock animals such as chickens, cows, pigs have been assisted to break the laws of evolution because we as humans need them and breed them. There is still no evidence that non-primate animals feel pain as we do and I think we should be careful with our anthropomorphism. They exist to pass their genes on and we help them do it so they are winners! Of course I agree with other that my view is different than others so people should have choice!
