I have great regard for your views on all things but I regret to say I don't find your argument convincing in this instance. It seems to rely heavily on demeanour without, with respect, adequately addressing the facts.
I am aware, of course, of what has been said in relation to imminent, well-advanced etc. ROW discussions. But I am also aware that a director sold $15m dollars worth of shares two weeks ago.
A step in my argument is that I do not believe that the present share price gives full value to Neuren as a Trofinetide-only company, putting all thoughts of NNZ2591 to one side. So I think an announcement of a deal or deals for ROW rights will add to the SP.
Now, I certainly don't suggest there is anything wrong with Mr Scott selling shares. But I do think, on balance, that a well-established gentleman in his 80s would be unlikely to be in such urgent need of $15m that he would have sold just then, or so many, if he had expected an announcement within weeks that might have added millions of dollars, maybe quite a few milliions, to value of the shares he sold. And he should be getting fuller information than we are.
For that additional reason, I think we are still some distance from a ROW deal and I suspect the complication of NNZ2591 may be behind that. There are other possibilities that come to mind, like a takeover. But JP said explicitly that he would not "look" at a takeover before phase II results were in, so that doesn't really change the expectation about timing.
