lithium... cant see it working. Its such a dirty drug. I've tested neuronal membrane phospholipid composition in post mortem brains and lithium really alters the fatty acid composition substantially. I just dont think it will go close to working. Then not to mention how effectively it controls mental health conditions (not particularly well), i think it is kind of the opposite to aspirin for a brain. A very different treatment to anything neuren would develop. Like i said before, 90 to 95% confidence in 2591 is an understatement, imo.
agree. We're not going to be shareholders in a 2591 phase 3 trial.
