According to Cambridge Discovery Fund's June newsletter Phenomica has recieved funding, although i expect this is more than likely internal contributions from CESF itself in order to establish the companies framework. VC or 3rd partner still to come.
Phenomica - a new company formed by researchers at the University of Cambridge and leading Australian drug discovery company Phylogica Ltd, has received funding to pursue a novel application of Phylogica's Phylomer peptides for drug discovery. Phenomica will combine Phylogica's Phylomer libraries, which comprise billions of naturally derived peptides, with technology from Cambridge to identify vulnerable points in a disease that can be the focus for new drug development.
