Phil, don't forget its not just U companies that use sulphuric acid. Pretty much any mining company that uses acid leaching will need it, includes your copper, gold etc. I think the spike in price is just a sudden shock in the demand/supply market.
BTW. I've also just received an email response from PB (he works on weekends?!?!!?) and am very comfortable now that we won't be having any issues with the cap raising.
I urge anyone with similar concerns to email him directly.
