The guy who wrote that article in my previous post (which seems to have dissappeared) is William Toffey and is Biosolids recycling Manager of Philadelphia water.
The Biosolids recycling center is located beside one of three sewage treatment plants which serve 2.5 million customers.
Thay use a lot of the treated Biosolids for infilling of abandoned mine sites, that's right, treating acid mine drainage and it sounds as though it doesn't do a very good job. An interesting read:
