The shorters are naive and probably have realised their plan has backfired.
If they think they will get more than $5K worth of shares they will get an unpleasant surprise when their application for more than $5K will get knocked back.
ESI knows who has sold and who has been loyal to the company.
This would be the only logical reason why anyone would dump at these prices.
