Bigpharma makes plenty in the way of sales but very little in the way of profit ...... and there-in lies the problem. I guess you could argue that this reflects uncontrolled empire building from within ...... and that is partly true ........ but the regulatory environment is also at fault along with poor business decisions (failure to back winners) and product development approaches.

Scams and semi scams. The Phosphagenics Three apparently went to jail the other day for outright fraud. My advice? Don't invest in anything that doesn't have loads of independent peer reviewed papers and studies to support the science and don't invest in companies that don't have tangible growing revenue streams or poor risk management approaches. Nor is it wise to be overweight in companies with just one horse in the race. That whittles them down a tad.
