you are too quick my friend. If you had read my post more carefully, you would see that we were in agreeance about Japan and the US in world war 2 on that point. My comments are about more recent history. Nations in todays world which don't agree to US terms of trade do so under constant threat of war or subversion. Thats the reality they face and it explains their race towards militarisation and their tight controls on their populations. Nobody wants to be the next Iraq, VIetnam, Afghanistan, Libya, etc, etc, etc...
