Look up Basel 3 and what it means for precious metals. if what the pundits are saying is halfway right gold should see a nice run over the next years. It basically makes allocated gold "real gold" a tier one asset while paper gold which banks use have to be backed up by the real deal. Disclaimer, this is just stuff I read googling but was set up after the 2008 banking disaster to ward off another disaster which IMO is a given. so do some research but it makes sense to me at least. Who knows what is real anymore , there's so much BS written it's hard to disseminate fact from fiction.
