"When is the device expected to be available to the market. I'm assuming the device has been developed, now they are starting to develop cartridges for certain tests? How long would this take?"

The big question.......... the answer is we don't know as Philips are not going to telegraph the release of this ?disruptive technology.......... but looking back at a release from 2011 they said.........

Philips will set up manufacturing facilities to be ready to produce the disposable cartridges for the 2013 commercial launch of the new solution.

Although given that they are just closing the application for the cartridge engineer when they will launch might be this year or next........ we can only guess..... something I do too much of!!!
