The invention relates to a cartridge (890) for processing a fluid, comprising (i) a fluid-treatment element (801) that is permeable to at least a part of the fluid, and (ii) a processing chamber (855) that is disposed adjacent to the fluid-treatment element (801) and in which treated fluid that has passed said fluid-treatment element can be processed. The fluid-treatment element may particularly be a filter material (801) integrated into at least one foil (802, 803, 804).
