Sales Manager Minicare in NLD Netherlands
- Your challenge * As sales manager you are responsible for initiating and growing sales of the Minicare products in the markets. The Minicare product is a handheld Vitro Diagnostics Point-Of-Care system and provides lab quality test results in a very easy way within minutes on a drop of blood. The technology has high potential by itself, but it also fits very well with the ambitions of Philips Healthcare to become a provider of integrated solutions for Healthcare. The purpose of the job is to create a commercial channel for the Minicare products and will actually contribute to the growth of the business. The Sales Manager successfully launches and supports the realization of the approved business plan.
- Your responsibilities *• Introduce the Minicare system in the markets, starting in the BeNeLux and UK, expanding to Europe and rest of the world by building the proper sales organization, in close collaboration with the current Philips Healthcare sales channels • Develop the overall sales plan, including the implementation (project scope, content, deliverables, milestones, budget), such that management is able to decide on the project and the financial risks. • Manage the own organization in the markets, sets targets and controls performance. Executes the local go-to-market and business plans. • Own and manage the first-step-implementation of the final approved business plan. The Sales Manager hires and trains sales representatives on the job to achieve the sales targets. • Expand the markets and channels to a worldwide organization • Generate new business ideas through independent scouting of internal and external sources, creating business opportunities, which are out of scope for the existing Business Lines.
- Your team * Handheld Diagnostics' is a growing Venture within the Philips Healthcare Incubator. The aim is to commercialize this new platform in the field of Point-of-Care Diagnostics. This platform radically improves the speed, reliability and ease of use of protein diagnostics. Troponine I testing in whole blood is selected as the first application. Product, production processes and organization are built from scratch. Aim is to generate new business new markets, which will significantly contribute to the growth ambitions of Philips. The venture is located on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

- We are looking for * Sales Manager of medium/large sized business with relevant experiences in start-ups and fast growing business. We prefer experience with medical devices. • In-depth knowledge of sales and good knowledge of all related processes. Having the right skills to hire, train and manage his team. • Willing to start at the basis by winning the first customer deals and learning to create the sales processes from this experience • Leads implementation of initial phase, including cooperation with partners inside or outside the existing Philips organization. After initial phase, a handover to the existing organization could be possible. • Independently defending the business case towards management. • Typically requires a Master’s degree with > 10 years of related sales management experience. • New product, new market, new partner, new channels/organization. • Lead at least 1 implementation of approved business plan into full operation, including sales channels. • Manages a potential business of approx. € 100 M
