Philley, it was me that moderated you earlier for discussing your moderation on the forum. HC has very clear rules about this because in the past anyone who didn't like a moderation would start a thread and have a good old dummy spit. Then there would be 50 replies as to why the post should or should not have been moderated. If that happened 50 times a day HC would become a lame duck. The correct procedure, if you are unhappy with a moderation, is to send an email to admin.
Now with that said I had a look at your moderated post that started the softly softly thread and had a discussion with admin as to what you can or can't post. We do not allow emails from a company to be cut and pasted UNLESS the poster obtains permission from the company to do so. If they don't mention that he/she has permission then the post most likely would get moderated.
If the member is talking about a phone conversation, he/she needs to say who with, and make it clear that it's their own interpretation of the phone call, and of course that this information can't be taken as a quote. It's also best if they ask the person they spoke with if they can précis the call on HC. That way, the poster covers him/herself with the company. We occasionally get a company person contact us and say what was posted was incorrect info.
Sorry if this seems a bit painful but we need to keep everyone covered...you, HC and the company. I hope that helps.
