Reading Phillip Adams' latest Weekend Australian column, I learnt two things:
(i) he is a self-confessed high school dropout at age 15 ("one of three reasons I'd never dreamt of going to uni."); and
(ii) he believes we have not made a world worthy of our children, the future of which "is dominated by the unprecedented and slow-motion catastrophe of climate change and its denial".
So let's ignore - quoting Phillip again - the "so serious in all regards" problems of famine, disease, financial inequality, and human rights. According to him, they pale by comparison to the issue of climate change.
Really?
Phil, mate - you've had a good run. Time to hang up your quill.
