Well, staying with CEO who might be good in technology but poor in marketing & sales and communication isn't worth.
To be TELIX you need CEO who work accordingly. Most technical people aren't great sales person or BShitter, so you need CEO with correct background and established in USA or someone form US company like Phillips or Varian or Cannon imaging or Siemens etc.
emotion doesn't work with investment and sooner people realise the better it is.
On the option, think this way. If company had massive revenue generation then there is no worry about people exercising options and taking part in success. at the end of the day you want investor to get return on their investments. just because options might get exercised so let's slow down the progress so all option expires worthless isn't right attitude.
