Im agreeing with you mate, it makes sense for companies to buy now at low commodity prices instead of when the prices go up and they're forced to pay premiums.
However, what if the owner has a really high valuation in his head and needs the market to jump to justify any company paying that much for it?
Another possibility in a long list of scenarios we can all guess at.
Have you given up yet on a sale being finalised as we speak? My hopes are fading to be honest.
