That's exactly what I mentioned: if we witness a sharp rebound in lithium prices, the management should have a contingency plan in place. While we possess one of the top projects in a prime location, its associated with pricy tag. Confidence is great, but effective execution is key.
Furthermore it doesn't make sense, why the process is taking such a prolonged duration if we are looking for partner?
Also, the industry leader PLS, in their last quarter also set a deadline for finalizing a strategic partnership by the end of March 2024, so they are also approaching a deadline. Maquarie is also looking for a partner for PMT which is yet to be announced. CTR also like to tap funding for their plant.
I know things are not as straight as it looks. Hopefully, we will receive another update this quarter.
