Ponzi, these calls are fairly routine during SPPs. The company will be sussing out the level of interest, and underwriters (if any) will be directing any potentially "unsold" SPP stock to alternative investors, whether they be institutions or sophisticated investors. If you want to participate in the SPP, you do not need to wait for the mail out - Go the the company's registry site - Boardroom Pty Ltd via Investorserve.com.au - and you should be able to access your holding using your CHESS and holding details. You can then accept the offer simply by making a BPay payment.
Personally, i wont be taking up the offer - I've invested enough in EVS and would like to see some real results from the company before committing further cash their way.
