$10k @ 3c = 333,333 shares. 333,333 shares @ 16c = $53.3k
$10k @ 3.5c = 285,714 shares. 285,714 shares @ 16c = $45.7k
Options = 95,238 shares @ 5.5c = $5.2k additional investment. @ 16c = $15.2k.
So, net return of $43.3k buying on market vs $45.7k buying through the offer = $2.4k better off.
So, for you to make $2.4k you need to contribute an additional five grand and wait for the share price to appreciate by over 400%.
