I got a call this morning (Sat 1st) from a call center. The caller said she was from Lynas but when I questioned her further, she admitted that she was from a call
center. She asked me did I intend to take up Lynas' share purchase offer.
I asked her to document the following message for the CEO:
"I'm dissappointed in how the company has dealt with the Malaysian
problem over the past 9 months. A more professional and politically savy
management should have anticipated the community objections and
should have had strategies in place to minimise the LAMP's delay.
As a shareholder I expected that from management given the premium
salary packages we as share holders give them".
I also asked her to pass on: " I do not intend to take up the SPP because Lynas has already made that decision for me." ( share price now 64c & SPP 75c)
