Bring one someone like Neil Biddle as chairman (again), and let him engage with the CMT to leverage what they can bring to the table!
Nobody stops the CMT to bring their networks and expertise to TNG, if it is for everybody's (including their own) benefit -- they don't have to take control of the board for that, though.
