Final TD for the well will depend on:
- amount of drill pipe on site. Most of the slimhole work Ive done required 3-1/2" drill pipe for lower section of the drill string.
- whether or not they hit a water contact. If a contact is intersected they'll drill far enough past it to get coverage with logging tools.
- what they consider a safe length of hole to have open for a barefoot test if that is what they have planned.
Not sure what will happen with testing plans if the intersect a water contact. Ideally you'd want to isolate the water leg for a test.
