I agree Ammie Scott is in a bit of a tricky position with the sp wallowing at 10.5c prior to the raise. Can’t help but feel that that is why the retail offer has been held back? Along with the message Portiss received, that Scott will not be available to chat until next week, and you have to think that they have been waiting until they have some positive news to push the sp north prior to the SPP?
Thinking it will be a combination of 3D seismic commencement and some results from the US. The first bit of news re 3D start will not move the sp imo as it is expected and priced in. But good results along with a quality Ann that is clear and very positive associated with the results certainly will. (Throw in a webinar if results are very good too.)
Would love to throw a signed PPSA in to the fold too, but starting to think it is the Holy Grail - always promised never delivered!
The rumours re Sonatrech & Exxon are just that at this stage - rumours. But it does make sense and would be a very positive move. If that is happening and funding is sealed with the big boys for a piece of the pie, then the SPP may not even go ahead?
We shall see.
Next week could be very interesting.
